Manitowoc KitchenCare Recognizes Service PartnersJanuary 23, 2014

New Port Richey, FL, January 23, 2014 -- Manitowoc KitchenCare recognized members of its service and parts distribution network for outstanding support, program management, innovation and customer service.  The awards were presented at Manitowoc’s Americas Sales and Service Meeting held January 22 in Louisville, KY.

Those receiving special recognition for outstanding support included:
  • Planned Maintenance Excellence, John Swanson and Bildon Appliance Service, Livonia, MI, for their five-year support of Planned Maintenance programs with Manitowoc global account customers
  • Installation Excellence, Roy Armstrong of Armstrong Repair, Houston, TX, for support in 2013 for a major US-based chain roll-out program.
  • Trailblazer Award, Bruce Hodge and General Parts, Bloomington, MN, for their leadership, guidance and pioneering in development of the new Manitowoc global warranty management system. 
  • Trailblazer Award, Ken Beasley and Key Foods, Burnaby BC, Canada, for innovative marketing and customer programs in their regional territory.
  • Trailblazer Award, Scott Hester and RSI, Mesquite, TX, for “can-do” support in development and delivery of best in class training with the Manitowoc portfolio of brands.
  • Trailblazer Award, Steve Snower and Parts Town, Addison, IL, for innovative development of internet based tools that make it easy for anyone, anywhere to find the right OEM part for their kitchen equipment.
  • Trailblazer Award, Brian Silva and Baker Distributing, Jacksonville, FL, for outstanding accomplishments in parts customer service and distribution support across their nationwide locations.
  • Trailblazer Award, David Hahn of FESCO, Knoxville, TN, for long-term membership and outstanding contributions as a member of the Manitowoc Service Council for the past 8 years.

The particular software update for Convotherm 4 gas units has to be done by an authorised service partner (there are adjustment steps necessary).

Please ensure that only software which is suitable for the unit series is installed on your Convotherm unit. This software cannot be used for other unit types from the range. If this is disregarded, no liability will be assumed for malfunctions.
