Where is the unit located? What is air temperature entering condenser?	Poorly ventilated or hot location	Properly ventilate unit or relocate

Is discharge valve partially closed?	Discharge valve partially closed	Open discharge valve
Is heat pressure control set and functioning properly?	Head pressure setting too high. Headmaster malfunctioning	Adjust setting or replace control

Is compressor suction or discharge valve partially closed?	Compressor suction or discharge valve partially closed.	Open valve.
Is compressor suction or discharge valve leaking?	Compressor suction or discharge valve inefficient.	Clean or replace leaky valve plates.
Is condenser pressure regulator operating properly?	Faulty condenser pressure regulator.	Repair or replace.
Do you have low suction pressure?	See section XI on low suction pressure.	Correct.
